"Celebrating Harmony: A Friendly Cross-Cultural Dialogue

 Praise be to Allah, the Friendly Ceremony and Harmonious Dialogue celebrating the Chinese New Year, held at the Grand Continental Hotel, Kuala Terengganu, concluded successfully yesterday evening. The event commenced with a welcoming address by Datin Norhana Abdullah Ng, the Chairman of Gabungan Dakwah Malaysia (GDM) and also the Chairman of MACMA Terengganu. The opening ceremony followed, delivered by the Chairman of the Council of Islamic Religion and Malay Customs of Terengganu, Yang Berhormat Dato' Shaikh Harun Shaikh Ismail.

With a total of 260 participants, the gathering included members from various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) such as IKRAM, Hidayah Center Foundation, ABIM Outreach Besut, HALUAN, Pertubuhan Aspirasi Jaringan Wanita (AJWA), Malaysian Muslim Brotherhood Association (SALIMAH), Darul Fitrah Terengganu, and our brothers and non-Muslim friends from diverse nations. The program was enriched with special performances by the Cahaya Hati group, a lion dance in celebration of Chinese New Year, harmonious cultural dialogues, yee sang activities, and engaging lucky draws

Alhamdulillah, the lemon distribution program to welcome the people of Kampung Tiong and traders in conjunction with the Chinese New Year at Kampung Tiong Market has been successful. The program which started at 7.30 am was attended by Datin Norhana Abdullah as the Chairman of Malaysian Chinese Muslim Association (MACMA) Terengganu, Bro Ali Lee and some staff of MACMA Terengganu. A total of 200 hamper packs were distributed to the public at random to those who attended.
